Yesterday in his letter addressed to Hun Sen and Ranarith, M. Sihanouk recalled to both persons that reclaiming repairing damage from USA for its bombarding in Cambodia during sixties and seventies, is something legitimate.

But Mr Sihanouk forgot that at January 1968 Mr Chester Bowles Ambassador of USA in India come to meet Sihanouk to have his accord to clean Vietcong sanctuaries on Khmer territory. This accord followed up by two years of massive bombarding to clean up the Vietcong from Cambodia with the accord of Sihanouk. 

Resounding to this policy; even after having support the Vietcong to installed their numerous sanctuaries over Cambodian land ; at Mai 29 1969, Sihanouk regrouped all the media for a press conferring to denounce Vietcong present on Khmer territory. But later Sihanouk changed one more time his position and accepted definitively to help Vietcong and the movement Khmero-yuon followed by a fierce anti-American policy. 

Other presence of USA army on Khmer territory was at April to June 1970 while Lon Nol Army can not anymore face to many thousands of Vietcong presented all over Khmer territory which often they used it as base to attack or Khmer or US army in South Vietnam/Cochinchina. Mr ex Minister Chau Xeng Au testified this event as follow:

" At 30 April, a month after the violation of Khmer territory by the Vietnamese communists, US army accompanied by South Vietnam army intervened in Cambodia to clean the Vietcongs. Their only goal was to clean the sanctuaries of the Vietcong situated at Eastern of Cambodia and from there Vietcong launched frequent attacks against the South Vietnamese territory with the great offensive of ‘1968- têt.

The intervention of USA at that period was strictly limited in time and space: two month operation (April 30 to June 30 1970) and within a 30 km dept inside Khmer territory. After that there was no more US military operation in Cambodia . ‘Extracted from “Truth of the false civil war in Cambodia ” 

Of course, USA can assume its responsibilities as it always done and continue to do for Khmer people living under the oppression and threat of Mr Sihanouk and his clan and Khmer people encourage USA (the Republican) to apply more favor for Cambodia  and Cambodian people. The question is do Mr Sihanouk and his companies dare to assume their responsibilities for the countless crimes they did against Khmer people, against humanity? What Sihanouk and his clan are playing is a cheap game as always. Does Mr Sihanouk is capable of a minimum conscientiousness and dignity……?
