What would be the result of the next legislative election of July 27, 2003? Let guest the outcomes with the If. French adage stated that with an If we could put Paris in a Bottle. (Avec un Si, on peut mettre Paris dans une bouteille!).

If the election is free and fair, Sam Raingsy Party with some Funcipec allies will win.

But this will never happen, because no dictator, no communist regime had loosed yet the election organized by their henchmen. Hun Sen and CPP would certainly cheat, assassinate and terrorize to win the election, any election.

The election in spite of its weakness and shortcoming is still the only mean to overthrow CPP and Hun Sen regime because the election would be the necessary joint, a catalyst which would spark the uprising of Khmer people to change the regime.

Before we go forward in our analysis, let us examine the lesson that had taught us from Khmer people uprising in 1998.

In 1998, forty-thousand people demonstrated during one month against the cheating of the election by Hun Sen Government. That demonstration was not a fact of hazard. That was organized in the way that people in emergency from different horizons came to work together. One million dollars were spent at least.

So there was a plan and courageous and dedicated groups of people who had committed together their effort to topple the ignominious regime.

All the honor of the 1998 popular uprising was for Raingsy, but by the same postulate the failure came from Raingsy too. The failure came from the fact that Raingsy did not yet know to distinguish other real good leaders who supported him to overthrow Hun Sen government from the other ones who just pretended to do this or do that.

We need secrecy to fight against an evil regime. We need secrecy to succeed. But the secrecy bequest other problems. For security reason, people cannot reveal their game plan. To fight the totalitarian regime, they had to hide their real plan and their targets. We all learn from our mistakes. We need a good leadership who can manage all these components. It should be a win-win organization for all opponents of the evil regime.

During the 1998 people uprising, according to the confession recorded on videotape in FBI possession, two assassins had confessed and named names in Hun Sen Police apparatus who paid them to slaughter indistinctly people by throwing grenades into the crowd who demonstrated against the cheating of the election by Hun Sen Government. One of these two was the leader of a team of twelve assassins.

The other one (of these two), a CPP soldier trained as special force in Jakarta, said that he would be paid a bonus of $2000 by Police Chief for that blood price.

After having thrown some grenades and killing a dozen people, these two escaped according to the convened plan to Wat Botum Watdey. At Wat Botum Watdey, after committing the murdering act, these two assassins separately learnt that they (their whole assassination team) would be in their turn liquidated by Hun Sen secret agents in order to suppress any witnesses of that manslaughter act committed against Khmer people.

These two were afraid for their life. They took refuge and confessed to Sam Raingsy Party leaders and ask Sam Raingsy for protection. The confession videotape was since then in FBI possession.

During the 1998 popular uprising, Hun Sen henchmen had put their snipers on the trees to kill Raingsy. Thank to another secret independent organization that took in charge the personal protection of Sam Raingsy. Sam Raingsy Party and Raingsy himself had until today no knowledge of the existence of that secret organization group who took in charge the protection of Sam Raingsy personally additionally to the multitude of security guards, very often incompetent, surrounding him.

To avoid the snipers, the secret security team that protected Raingsy used the umbrellas to hide Raingsy and moved Raingsy out toward the Cambodiana Hotel accordingly to their secret plan.

In the videotape of the 1998 Khmer People Uprising sold in US Cambodian stores, you would see the umbrellas hiding Raingsy and moving Raingsy toward Cambodiana Hotel.

Raingsy and Sam Raingsy Party did not know and did not have the escape plan to protect Raingsy. The escape plan was the work of a secret security organization, whose leader was a dedicated and devoted disciple of Samdech Sangh Raj Tioun Nath.

Police Hun Sen had ordered to lock the doors of Cambodiana Hotel. The CPP assassination henchmen led by the infamous Siv were in hot pursuit of Sam Raingsy. They saw Sam Raingsy moved forward to Cambodiana Hotel, and they expected to catch Raingsy at least at the Cambodiana Hotel entrance because they knew for sure that all the Cambodiana Hotel doors were locked. So, their plan was to create the confusion and diversion and then kill Raingsy before or at least at the Cambodiana Hotel entrance.

Fortunately, a student girl had made a week before a copy key of that Cambodiana Hotel entrance. She opened the door and saved Raingsy. That student girl who saved Raingsy is a daughter of a high ranking officer of Hun Sen Police. She acted secretly and against her father political will. She supported Raingsy. She was a member of that secrete organization. She lived right now in the States.

The infamous fat man, Siv, who attempted to assassinate Raingsy in the 1998 people uprising was the same man who accompanied Hun Sen to arrest the former Prime Minister Pen Sovann and, sixteen years later, arrested Norodom Sirivuth. He killed anyone as he pleases. He arrested indistinctly Ministers or Prime Minister under direct order of Hanoi.

In Cambodia, since the immemorial times, that was our cultural heritage, some girls, some students, some peasants, some poors, some destitute and some soldiers with nothing continued to fight to liberate our motherland. That is the hope of Cambodia.
