Endless betrayal Tactics From: Kh. Kung (baphuon@aol.com)
Subject: Endless betrayal messagenews:<b4vod3$23u2tk$1@ID-150982.news.dfncis.de.. King Sihanouk, Funcipec and Hun Sen government appealed to all combatants to end their hostility in the name of National Reconciliation, National Union and Peace to rebuild Cambodia. That was always the favorite slogans of all political parties. Nobody can say no to the Union and Peace. Talks were easy but deeds never followed. CPP used National Union and Peace slogans as stratagem to hide their murderous plan. CPP's goal was very simple: liquidate all good political opponent leaders, and appoint the worst and hatred ones to the high ranking and visible positions in the administration to terrorize local people. That was the same strategy that the Stalinist Vietnamese leaders had carried out implacably for more than fifty years, even for century, to take over our Kampuchea Krom. Now the same pattern repeated again in Cambodia. Keo Pung was a tyrant, Khmer Rouge general, a brigade commander. He was responsible of the slaughtering of more than thirty thousand displaced persons -- new people (Prachea Chun Thmey) -- in Am Lang district, province Kompong Speu. A few years after the 1991 Paris Peace Agreement, after a long strategic debate, the ideologue Nuon Chea, brother number two, pushed toward the rally policy. Nuon Chea said: "Now, we were defeated, and people are tired to fight. When peace comes, our Party discipline will be hard to maintain; our combatants might be attracted by the easy life and pleasures of the city. So the only viable policy is to rally the government. Keep our best cadres inside the government in order to fight from inside to outside to destroy the Vietnamese enslavement policy and free the rest. We would select our best cadres and give full support to them to infiltrate Hun Sen government under the rally policy." Ta Mok opposed categorically the rally policy. Departing from the same analysis as Ta Nuon but Ta Mok arrived to different conclusion, Ta Mok said that the easy life, the corruption in the city, all these negative factors would degenerate morally our cadres. Finally our cadres will be corrupted and sold their soul to the Vietnamese, our mortal enemy. The rally policy would melt down our fighting forces. So we should keep our forces intact in remote areas protected from the corruption of the cities. This led to the schism of Khmer Rouge. Keo Pung was one of the first Khmer Rouge general to rally Hun Sen government. Hun Sen awarded Keo Pung with lavished villa, car, money and land. Keo Pung was appointed by the CPP as general. In meantime King Sihanouk had pardoned Ieng Sary, Khmer Rouge leader, brother number three. Influenced by the policy of the political rally, the royal pardon, the Union and Peace propaganda, and additionally under the assurance of Keo Pung -- first it was Nuon Pet, Nuon Chea's son, one of the best Khmer Rouge battalion commander and then Ta Mok, surnamed by some journalist as "the butcher" -- these two Khmer Rouge leaders agreed to come on the invitation of the Cambodian royal government to negotiate the deal. It was a betrayal. Ta Mok and Nuon Pet were arrested, despite the assurance of the royal government to let them free. Ta Mok said, he was now ready to testify before the international court of justice to reveal the truth. That is his truth, his point of view of the Cambodian genocide. Who were the real authors of Cambodia genocide? During Hun Sen's coup of July 5 and 6, 1997, Hun Sen ordered Keo Pung to crush Funcipec forces. Keo Pung destroyed Funcipec's tanks and Funcipec battalion commanded by a weak and alcoholic general and captured the good Funcipec general Kroch Yoeum. He tortured Kroch Yoeum to death and dismembered Yoeum's body. He was awarded by Hun Sen's government for his support for Hun Sen's coup. Two years after Hun Sen's coup, Keo Pung died mysteriously in Svay Rieng. Rumors stated that he was poisoned by Hun Sen's henchmen. Up until now, there is score more of Keo Pung, who are still in high-ranking position in Hun Sen administration. Their jobs were to terrorize Cambodian people and carry out the implacable pitiless Vietnamese enslavement of Cambodia. When they kill enough opponents, they would be killed in their turn by Vietnamese agents. The official press would say they were killed by Sam Raingsy partisans or accident of circulation or love crime etc... Those Vietnamese henchmen assassins knew pertinently that they would be liquidated one day on order from the Vietnamese, but they were blocked mentally. They felt some sort of inevitability they could not escape. They did not take initiative. They wait docilely their death. Lee was a secret agent, captain Vietnamese henchman assassin. He carried with him twenty thousand dollars. That was all he had. His hands trembled. He assassinated more than a dozen of Sam Raingsy cadres in the night during year in year out on order of his superior. Kill or be killed. He knew for sure that he would be assassinated one day. Two years ago, he was killed silently in Battambang not far from the downtown. Baphuon - (Update Jan-Fev2005) |
